<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="What is SpendLess?">
    A free desktop app for organizing FL Studio projects. Use names, icons, colors, covers and audio previews to find your music, inspect its contents and manage project archives.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Why did you make it?">
    I'm Naikho, a music producer and the creator of SpendLess. My tracks, works in progress and samples were scattered across my computer. I built SpendLess for my own sessions, then shared it so other producers could spend less time managing files and more time making music.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Is it free?">
    Yes. SpendLess is free to download and use.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Which computers and DAWs are supported?">
    Windows and macOS, with FL Studio projects (.flp). The current Mac release requires macOS 13 or later and supports Intel and Apple silicon. FL Studio must be installed to open and edit your projects.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Will Ableton Live be supported?">
    Yes, Ableton Live support is planned for later. For now, I'm focusing on making SpendLess stable and reliable with FL Studio, improving the experience, and helping more producers discover the app. There is no release date to announce yet.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Do I need an account or upload my music?">
    No account is required. Your managed projects and settings stay on your computer. SpendLess is not a cloud storage or synchronization service. Downloads, update checks and external links use the internet.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Does importing change my original project?">
    SpendLess creates a managed copy and works with that copy. Keep your original project and source samples until you have checked the imported project in FL Studio.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Does SpendLess save my work automatically?">
    Keep saving in FL Studio. SpendLess detects saved changes and can keep local FLP snapshots before its own processing. Those snapshots are not continuous autosave or a complete backup of every sound. [Backup guide](/en/backups).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I export MP3 or WAV directly?">
    Render audio in FL Studio, then attach it as a preview. SpendLess exports .spend and .zip project archives; it does not render audio or automatically generate previews.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Are my plugins included when I share a project?">
    No. The receiving computer needs compatible FL Studio, plugins, licenses and any separately required sound libraries. Only located, collected sample files can travel with the project package.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Why does macOS or Windows show a warning?">
    SpendLess is not yet signed with the trusted certificates used to avoid these first-launch warnings; the Mac app is also not notarized. Follow [the official installation guide](/en/installation) for the relevant system.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How do I start, see updates or send feedback?">
    [Install SpendLess](/en/installation), then [import your first project](/en/first-project). Read the [changelog](https://spendlessdaw.app/changelog), join [Discord](https://discord.gg/GEbfjJfU8Y), or contact [@SpendLessDaw](https://x.com/SpendLessDaw).
