Start by saving your work in FL Studio. Note the exact error message and your SpendLess version in Settings → About.
Follow the Windows or macOS installation steps. Download again from the official website if the installer is incomplete. For a damaged-app or malware warning, stop and ask for help.
Check DAW path, macOS Accessibility permission and that you opened the managed copy. Save and quit FL Studio, wait a few seconds, then restart SpendLess if necessary. Detection guide.
Reconnect source drives, check FL Studio data path, resolve missing audio in FL Studio, save and close, then Update project. Install any required plugins and their libraries separately. Sample guide.
SpendLess reads saved files. Save in FL Studio, close the project and check Update projects in Preferences. A preview needs a new audio render; it does not refresh with the FLP.
Check that the file is an FLP, a supported SpendLess archive, or a ZIP containing an FLP. Make sure the source and destination are accessible and there is enough free space. A newer or unsupported archive can require updating SpendLess. Keep the original file and report the exact error if it continues.
Keep a copy of its folder. Check whether its FLP still exists and opens in FL Studio. Restore a known-good file or a backup if available. Do not delete the original folder while diagnosing the problem.
Treat it as incomplete. Check which projects are accessible, export important ones individually and retry after resolving the problem. Inspect and test the archive before relying on it.
Check the attached preview, player volume and your computer’s audio output. Test the audio file in another player. Preview guide.
