SpendLess notifies you when a newer version is available. You can also compare your installed version in Settings → About with the website changelog.
Updates are installed manually while the app is not Developer ID signed and notarized.
  1. Choose Download update, or download the latest macOS installer from the website.
  2. Save your work and quit SpendLess.
  3. Open the new .dmg.
  4. Drag SpendLess into Applications and replace the previous application.
  5. Reopen SpendLess and check the version.
If first-launch security appears again, follow the installation guide. Check Accessibility permission if project detection stops working.

Before a major change

Keep a recent backup, especially before moving computers or reinstalling. Replacing the app is different from deleting your projects or resetting your app data.
